Precision Thickness Gauges

As discussed earlier there are several potential problems when measuring thin materials, not least the noise created by the pulse, making measuring difficult.

The Dakota PCX range utilises the I-E measurement method together with delay line transducers to enable accurate measurement of thin substrates.

The Dakota PCX8 can save 100,000 readings in 1,000 batches with its data logging facility. It is also able to measure from 0.15 – 25.4mm (0.0060 – 1.0000 inches), the gauge has a differential mode, limits and reading rates of 4, 8 and 16 readings per second and a 16Hz scan mode.
