The American Society for Non-Destructive Testing (ASNT) is the world’s largest technical society for NDT professionals. Founded in 1941, the society now boasts nearly 13,000 members which is split into over 80 chartered local sections over 12 countries.

In October 2023, Dakota’s NDT Manager, Matt Davison and NDT Customer Support Engineer, Ben Andrew were given the opportunity to host the ASNT – North Atlantic Section Meeting at the Dakota NDT’s European Regional HQ in Manchester, UK.

Dakota’s NDT Customer Support Engineer, Ben Andrew, hosted a presentation that provided valuable knowledge on how elongation measurement can effectively assess the condition of bolted flange joints.
