The ZX Corrosion Thickness Gauge is available in four different models. Each thickness gauge provides the inspector with increasing functionality - from the entry level Dakota ZX1 Thickness Gauge, to the top of the range Dakota ZX6-DL Corrosion Thickness Gauge.
Each Dakota ZX Thickness Gauge has been designed to withstand the harshest environments, made from an extruded aluminium body and is equipped with a LCD screen for improved visibility during sunlight.
Producing repeatable and reproducible measurements, the Dakota ZX range is available with a 5 year manufacturer's warranty, giving you peace of mind.

Dakota ZX Thickness Gauges
The ZX1 thickness gauge comes pre-calibrated for steel for immediate out-of-the-box use, while also offering manual velocity adjustment.
The ZX6-DL corrosion gauge is the top of the ZX line of basic thickness gauges. It combines a standard pulse-echo flaw detection measurement mode with a multi-echo through paint mode for use on materials with epoxy based coatings, and eliminate the error from the coating without having to remove it. Equipped with adjustable gain, as well as automatic Time Dependent Gain in both measurement modes.

Dakota ZX Thickness Gauges
The ZX1 thickness gauge comes pre-calibrated for steel for immediate out-of-the-box use, while also offering manual velocity adjustment.
The ZX6-DL corrosion gauge is the top of the ZX line of basic thickness gauges. It combines a standard pulse-echo flaw detection measurement mode with a multi-echo through paint mode for use on materials with epoxy based coatings, and eliminate the error from the coating without having to remove it.
